Doddfoddr

The Pirates won their 20th game this afternoon, which means they have only 62 wins to go end the season at .500 and respectability. I really intentioned to do this after each and every Pirate win, but a couple things have kept me from doing so. Mainly, though, lack of motivation. I still read Kovacevik and a handful of blogs daily, but when that’s all the interaction with the team you have it leaves you a little… removed. That and the Pens are taking an inordinate amount of my fannity. I miss the Buccos. I miss PNC Park. I miss baseball in Pittsburgh. But, with newfound motivation today (after hearing they no longer play A New Pirate Generation after wins at PNC, I felt today we needed to celebrate together win number 20. Sometime soon I’ll write something more/worthwhile about my experience as a Pirate fan this year—because that’s the only perspective I can ever really provide… sometime soon, I promise.
