2) I’m married to Jamie. She blogs about cooking and life.

3) I lived in China for three years (in Beijing first and then Harbin) as an English teacher.

4) I’m interested in writing, photography, and living well.

5) I strive to be a learner of language and culture, a seeker of beauty and truth.

6) Some of my favorite parts of the Bible are found in Hebrews.

7) I enjoy board games, slow movies, Bon Iver’s album Bon Iver, and riding my 8-speed Giant bicycle. (Yes, I’m a hipster.)

8) Since you asked, my all-time favorite books are (in no particular order): Til We Have Faces (Lewis), The Great Gatsby (Fitzgerald), The Grapes of Wrath (Steinbeck), The Old Man and the Sea (Hemingway), One Hundred Years of Solitude (Marquez), Watership Down (Adams) and Lord of the Flies (Golding). 9) I’m a fan of the MLB Pirates and NHL Penguins. I also root for the NFL Steelers in-between Super Bowl commercials.
